ミランヴクミローヴィックがクリエイティブディレクターを務めていた頃のジルサンダーのボマージャケットです。2003年秋冬シーズンは「シックロック」と「クラシック」が2大トレンドでしたが、ジルサンダーは前者の作風でした。ミランヴクミローヴィックは（確か）グッチでのキャリアがあり、その影響か、当時のジルサンダーもセクシー路線で個人的に好きでした。このボマージャケットはその当時印象的だったアイテムの一つです。ショーサンプルに比べて製品版はリブがローゲージニットに変わっており、正直なところショーサンプルのほうが格好良かったと思います。
JIL SANDER bomber jacket when Milan Vukmirovic was creative director. “Chic rock” and “Classic” were the two major trends in the 2003AW season, and JIL SANDER’s style was the former. Milan Vukmirovic had a career at Gucci, and maybe because of that, JIL SANDER was also on the sexy route at the time. I liked Milan’s JIL SANDER. This bomber jacket was one of the most impressive items of its time. Compared to the show sample, the ribs of the product version have changed to a low gauge knit, and I think the show sample was cooler.
